We can bring mobile numbers from another network onto your new connection at no additional charge.

What do you need to do?

All you have to do is to request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your existing service provider. There is a section on our checkout page for you to pass on both your PAC code and the mobile number you wish to bring.

Please have your PAC code ready when ordering - that way we can start the number transfer on your behalf.

Please note it is not usually possible for customers to bring an existing pay monthly contract number to a new connection on the same network, as this is not a service that the network usually allows. For example an existing number on Orange cannot be re-connected on a new Orange connection. Please call us on 0870 420 4001 if you are in doubt about this.

How long does it take?

It usually takes around 5-7 working days for your current number to transfer to your new phone, once your new phone has been delivered to you. Your phone will arrive with a temporary number until the number port occurs. Vodafone connections will not have a temporary number, and will not actually work until the number port happens.

Important: We highly recommend that you get in touch with your new network once you have received your new phone to double check that your number port is in place. We will not be held responsible for number porting errors or consequences once you have you have received your handset.
